I've been buying Tsukihoshi shoes for my son since he was 1 year old (he's now almost 6). The quality keeps me coming back! These shoes are durable with a wide toe box to allow for natural splay. The soles are flexible and not too thick -- allowing for his feet to be connected to the ground and encouraging his muscles to develop correctly. They hold up well to all kinds of activities, including a couple years of braking with his feet on a balance bike! They're lightweight, and we've never had any issues with odor, delaminating soles, crumbling foam, etc., which we've certainly seen with other shoes (including name brands). Best of all, I don't feel like I'm putting a huge, clunky, hard plastic barrier between his foot and the ground. These are the best -- if you're thinking of getting them, just do it! You won't be sorry.

These people know what they’re doing. The fitted heel paired with the toe room makes this shoe our go to every time. Stop trying to put your kids in cute shoes that create style and give them comfort and stability. These shoes will let your child grow and move and when they’re dirty, you throw them in the wash and let them air dry. Just like new! Socks or no socks, they never smell. As long as I’m picking his shoes out, I won’t get him anything else. I’d probably pay double if I had to. Worth every penny. These things hold up so nice too. Rough boy play is no match for these. The ease of the Velcro strap with a look of laces works out great! I can’t say anything bad about these. Honestly.
